Stanley Security Solutions evaluated more than 30 potential systems before selecting the BlueLine system. Stanley's experience in the Computerised time control field ensured that not only were the selection criteria severe, but also specifically geared to local conditions.
The multi-cultural socio-economic nature of South African industry, combined with certain unique conditions in respect of security and resource control, requires a high level of features, performance and reliability in a product of this nature.
We believe that the history of the past four years has validated our selection. BlueLine is currently installed at over 600 sites countrywide in such diverse industries as mining, food, pharmaceutical, paper, automotive, mining, electrical supply, glass, beer etc.

Systems that control who are allowed onto your site, when and how your staff accumulates hours and the transmission of this information to payroll are time critical operations. The term " time critical " means that a system should be available for use 7 days a week, 365 days a year, and if it does break down, then immediate service support should be available.

The design of the BlueLine “Professional” is a total departure from the traditional use of commercial computers for these applications. Instead of adapting and modifying an existing computer, BlueLine was locally conceived, designed and manufactured as a purpose built multi-processor, with its own operating system and language (TAL) to remove problem areas associated with commercial computers.  BlueLine is not PC based, and is a true real-time on-line, ODBC design, which is the only true integrated time and access system. This purpose built system unit provides the processing power, communications capability, standby electrical system, and built in programs necessary to collect, verify and store clockings in Time Recording, Access Control and Data Collection environments. The BlueLine BlueLine “Professional” is fully network able, TCP/IP compatible and acts as its own server
